SOMNIO ERGO SUM

 

     Lisa was the single mother of  her four-year-old daughter, Molly. Having recently been through a horrible divorce, Lisa was hesitant to have any sort of relationship, choosing instead to devote her time and energy to her daughter.

     But then, she met the man. He asked her out, and he charmed her. By the third date, she confessed to her friend and coworker, Tammy, that  she thought she might be ready to take the relationship to the next level.

     That evening, Lisa and the man had a romantic dinner, and afterward came back to her apartment. As things began to become intimate, the man offered a back rub, which Lisa gladly accepted.

     But things were not as they seemed. The man turned out to be a cruel sociopath, and, with Lisa in such a vulnerable position, he proceeded to take away her physical senses, one by one, leaving her in a dark, silent world, with only her dreams.
